About Me
Hello! My name is Asra Yousufuddin. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois and completed my clinical fellowship at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois where I served as a speech therapist for eight years.
I hold current certifications in SPEAK OUT! and LSVT Loud. I have past certifications in the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Protocol and Buteyko Breathing Method (Level One).
I am passionate about providing quality care that aims to individualize therapy to meet patient needs. While 100% improvement is not always possible, I am dedicated to helping patients reach their best potential.
My native language is English, but my language skills include intermediate spoken Urdu and Hindi. In my free time, you will find me listening to music, diving into a good book, or hitting the trails at my local forest preserve.
